A new mode goes live in Forza Horizon 4 today.

Eliminator Mode is the open-world racing game’s new Battle Royale mode, pitting 72 drivers against one another in a race to the center of the map as a deadly circle encroaches.

It sounds really fun, actually! It’s a very different type of Battle Royale from PUBG, Apex Legends or Fortnite, and a great twist on the traditional racing genre, as well. I can see this turning into glorious pandemonium pretty quickly, and I can’t wait to give it a spin.

Here’s the trailer:

You’ll start out in a Mini Cooper in a random location on the game’s full map. Players will be able to find upgrades marked by smoke to upgrade into better vehicles. All the while, the circle will push players closer and closer together in an increasingly hectic race to the center.

Players can also challenge other drivers to head-on-head races to a point set by the game. The loser is eliminated while the winner can take their car or level up their own.

The update goes live on Xbox One and PC today, December 12th. For more info on the mode check out this video by Easy Allies who have already had a chance to play:
