Fortnite Midas Mission Challenges for Week 9 and Week 10 are pretty tough, but those who finish 18 of them will have one more loyalty objective to complete. Head to HQ to accept the challenge, and you'll be asked to deliver Legendary Weapons to Shadow or Ghost Dropboxes. In this guide, we'll tell you the fastest way to get a Legendary and where to locate Ghost and Shadow Dropboxes once you have some.
How to Get a Legendary WeaponIf you've played Fortnite at all before, you likely know that weapons come in a few different colors based on their rarity in Battle Royale. Here's a rundown of the basic levels.
For the purposes of this guide, we'll be focusing on getting two orange Legendary weapons for you to deliver to your partner of choice. You can find Legenadries on rare occasion in Chests or as floor loot if you like, but this path may take a while. An interactive map like the one found on LootLake.infocan help you locate Chests, but there's a much easier way to get a Legendary without having to search for it.
As of Chapter 2, Fortnite introduced the Weapon Upgrade Bench where players can upgrade any weapon in their inventory to any rarity level by paying a small price of materials. Here's how the costs break down:
In most cases, it shouldn't be too hard to find an Epic so you just have to go through one upgrade, but calculate the mats you need based on what's in your inventory.
We've got a guide with several Weapon Upgrade Bench locations if you need it, but, for now, just go to this one outside the Holly Hedges Garden Center with the striped awning. There's a Ghost Dropbox straight ahead from there, too.
Show or Ghost Dropbox Locations to Deliver LegendariesWhether you've found two Legendaries or crafted them, the next step is to deliver them to a Shadow or Ghost Dropbox location, depending on your desired skin variant. You're essentially choosing between unlocking Midas in a black suit or a white suit.
Shadow Dropbox LocationsIf you prefer the black suit Midas, deliver your Legendary Weapons to Shadow. Here are a few Dropbox locations you can use:
1) In northwest Holly Hedges next to a crosswalk.
2) In west Salty Springs near a blue house.
3) In west Sweaty Sands in a parking lot.
Ghost Dropbox Locations1) In Holly Hedges across from the Garden Center.
2) Near a Bus Stop in southwest Pleasant Park.
3) Near a Stop Sign in northeast Pleasant Park.
There are more Dropboxes than these six, but you only need one location to get the challenge done. Just deliver the Legendary Weapons to the chosen Dropbox and the skin variant is yours.
