Remember the Supply Llamas in Fortnite Battle Royale? Turns out they've been absent in the battle royale game of late, but now Epic has put them back into the mode.
It's an easy thing to overlook, but it seems the Supply Llamas were actually taken out of Fortnite Battle Royale at the beginning of the current season, so right around two weeks ago at this point. But, with patch 12.10 having now gone live for all versions of Fortnite, the Supply Llamas are back in.
If you're unfamiliar with the Supply Llamas, they act as supply crates that start out already on the map, and don't descend from the sky with a parachute like the crates. Also unlike the Supply Crates, the llamas contain an unspecified amount of every building material in the game, on top of some of the best weapons in the game.
It's easy to have overlooked the Supply Llamas being taken out of Fortnite Battle Royale, because Epic doesn't supply patch notes online anymore. There used to typically be patch notes posted online every Tuesday, but now Epic releases an update for the game, and leaves the community largely guessing as to the changes, hence the surprise at the Supply Llama returning.
Right now, we're in the midst of Season 2 of Fortnite Chapter 2, the Battle Pass trailer for which you can see just above, showing off the 'Top Secret' agents theme. This is the second seasonal event after the wider game received the massive 'Chapter 2' overhaul in late 2019.
