‘Fortnite’ Pipe Man Location: Where To Dance At The Pipeman

There have been many odd locations in Fortnite over the years. There’s the big chair, one of the first large structures in the game. There have been any number of built-out animals, whether out of stone, steel or wood. There have been ice sculptures and yeti caves, giant toilets and telephones. And yet this here has to be one of my favorites of all time, a pleasantly serene figure gazing out over an endless ocean, a stark contrast to all the happy battlers dancing all over him this week as part of the trick shot challenges. We should all endeavor to be more like the Pipeman. For now, however, we shall have to be satisfied by dancing near him. The Pipe Man is in a less-often visited portion of the map, in the craggy southern expanse where items are less-easy to come by and the lack of a ton of mobility items makes navigation particularly tricky. You can find him South of Misty Meadows, not too far from where we found the boat launch not too long ago. Here’s where you’re dropping:

The Pipe Man is not quite so impressive as his counterpart, the Hay Man, but there’s a quiet dignity in his gangly form. Also, there is a chest in his head. The Pipe Man contains multitudes! Dance anywhere near him in order to complete this challenge, but honestly the most logical place is right there in between his legs. Read into that whatever you may want, the Pipe Man has no concern for your stage of choice.

After dancing at the pipe man, perhaps do not battle. Perhaps gaze out, not at this newly created world but at the endless expanse in front of you, rife with possibility. Let the storm take you over, returning you to fight another day, this moment of peace somewhere in the back your mind.
